Terms of Service

Version of 5 October 2026. Every sentence here describes how the service works on the day it was published. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer; a reviewed version will replace them, with a new version date, and you will be asked to accept it.

1. What this is

Sycorp Online is a multiplayer first person survival game in development, run by an independent developer. It is in closed alpha: a test of an unfinished game, for people with an alpha code.

2. Age

You must be 18 or older to hold an account. You confirm this when you sign up, and the time you confirmed it is kept on your account. The game contains realistic violence between players.

3. Your account

One person per account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.
Your account name (like Ana#48213) is visible to other players. Don't choose one that is offensive or pretends to be someone else; we may change it if you do.
Alpha codes are for the person they were given to. Access can be withdrawn at any time.

4. It's an alpha

Things will break. Servers may be down, progress (characters, items, homes) may be wiped at any time, and features may change or disappear.
Nothing you earn or own in the game has real world value or belongs to you outside the game.
We may ask for feedback and bug reports; what you send us we may use to improve the game.

5. Fair play

Don't cheat. That includes cheats, aim or wall hacks, modified game files or clients, exploiting bugs on purpose instead of reporting them, automation and bots, and anything that gets around the game's visibility rules. Don't harass, threaten or doxx other players, and don't use the game to break the law. Don't attack, overload or reverse engineer our servers.

6. Enforcement

We can remove you from a game, suspend your account (access closed, nothing deleted) or ban it (closed for good). A person makes that decision, with the reason recorded; when you next try to log in you are told what was decided and why. To dispute it, email support@sycorp.online.

7. Leaving

You can stop at any time and delete your account from your account page. It closes at once and is erased 30 days later; logging in before then cancels the deletion. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept.

8. No warranty

The game and this site are provided as they are, without any promise that they will work or be available, to the extent the law allows.
